Nowra Community Food Store is a low-cost grocery store for people in our community struggling to afford life’s basic essentials. Anyone on a low income or simply doing it tough is welcome to shop in our store.
We source our groceries from Foodbank NSW, clearance warehouses, OzHarvest and generous donations from the community. Prices are marked and our friendly volunteers are here to help!

Items included can vary due to stock availabilities.

About Us
Nowra Community Food Store is a charity-run supermarket providing affordable groceries and fresh fruit and vegetables to people in the local community who are doing it tough. We stock a wide range of items, including bread, drinks, snacks, canned goods, pantry goods, frozen foods, fresh fruit and veg, as well as a large range of cleaning products and personal care items.
Our goal is to alleviate some of the cost of living pressures local families are experiencing in a supportive, friendly environment. Everyone is welcome to shop in our store. We offer a safe space for the local community to shop for their essentials and interact with one another.
We are a registered charity, providing people with a hand up when they need it most. Volunteering at our store or making a donation is a great way to meet new people and give back to the local community.
